Golden Passion

My collection "Golden Passion" is a reflection of who I am and the force and passion that got me through my time at CCAD. Starting this pivotal creative theses process I looked back on my past work and this "Golden Passion", as I call it, has been a common thread. I knew this was the direction I had to go for this senior theses. This passion started with a dear friend and a trip to a fascinating land. Africa. The Fabric and people of this land captured my heart and a drive for using fashion to help others.
In this collection I use all authentic waxed African fabrics, including Mudcloth, as well as golden accents and leather/suede trims.
